About Us
The DrillCorp Group of Companies first began drilling operations in Malaysia in 1993. Being the first professional and multipurpose drilling contractor to arrive and operate in Malaysia, DrillCorp setup its office in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, operating 2 drilling rigs and employed approximately 15 people. DrillCorp has grown since those early days and today operates a fleet of 65 drilling rigs, employs approximately 340 personnel and are currently drilling in 6 countries throughout Asia namely China, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia. DrillCorp have also completed drilling programs in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.
The DrillCorp Head Office is strategically located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia due to the central location within Asia and excellent facilities and infrastructure that DrillCorp has built up there. DrillCorp also has a number of regional corporate offices and operational workshops to support and enhance our drilling operations across the region and these are located in Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, China and Singapore. These regional offices and workshops ensure that all of DrillCorp's Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and provide the required support to ensure that all of our equipment is operated and maintained to the highest standards.
DrillCorp’s expertise is Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and Diamond drilling and most of DrillCorp’s rigs are track mounted multipurpose drilling rigs and have been modified to suit the Asian environment and terrain. The core business of DrillCorp is to provide Professional and reliable contract drilling services throughout the whole Asia region.
